Graduation Ceremony: NYRDDC held a graduation ceremony

A graduation ceremony of B.A. and B.Sc. degrees, A.G.T.I Diploma (Batch-17) and issuing recruitment certificate was held at the Convocation Hall of Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree College in Sagaing, in the morning on 30th October.

In his address, Union Minister stated that the Ministry of Border Affairs is focused on developing young ethnic people in border regions to become effective civil servants capable of contributing to socio-economic growth in those areas.

To support this, institutions like the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree Colleges in Yangon and Sagaing have been established, offering training and education. In line with the guidance of the Chairman of the Central Committee for the Development of the Border Areas and National Races, Prime Minister for the graduates of the Nationalities Youth Resource Development Degree Colleges to take part in the leading role in the regional Administration and the tasks for the development of MSMEs, the graduates will be employed at the Ministries of Home Affairs, Border Affairs, Agriculture livestock and Irrigation and Cooperative and Rural Development and A.G.T.I diploma graduates will be employed in Ministries of Border Affairs, Cooperative and Rural Development, Electric Power, Industry and Science and Technology.

Next, the Union Minister awarded outstanding students in art and science subjects and the Sagaing Region Chief Minister awarded an outstanding student of A.G.I.I diploma holder and the representatives from four ministries handed over certificate of employment.

After taking documentary group photo with the graduate students, the Union Minister cordially greeted the graduates and their parents and gave words of honor to the graduates’ parents. Consequently, the Union Minister inspected the sports ground and spectators stand, four-storey engineering workshop under construction, dormitories, agriculture and livestock breeding and gave necessary instructions.

In the evening, the Union Minister and Chief Minister hosted dinner honoring the graduate students, enjoyed the presenting performances and provided cash of honor and flower basket.
