Immigration Office opened at Nepal-China Border Check Point

On Wednesday, Nepal has opened an immigration office at Korala in Upper Mustang, border with Chinese autonomous region of Tibet. The border crossing was limited to Mustang residents for trade purpose after acquiring permit from the district administration office.  Earlier, only residents of Mustang had permit to go to China via Korala check point.

With the operation of the Immigration Office, all Nepali citizens can cross the border as well as Chinese tourists can visit Mustang via this border after getting visa. Import and export would be easier as well as one can travel across the Chinese border once the office comes into operation.
