Sniper Dogs honored marking Dog festival

Nepal Police honored its Sniper and specialist dogs marking the occasion of Kukur Tihar festival. 

Nepal Police Canine Division, Kathmandu each year organizes the program to honor the dogs who contributes in crime investigation, detection, and search and rescue operations. A German shepherd named ‘Tiger’ has bagged the best dog of the year award for its role in helping police investigate two murder cases.

The dogs in the canine division of Nepal serve various four functions; Trackers, Drug Dogs, Bomb Dogs and Search and Rescue Dogs.During the function the trained canines also performed various skills.
