Giving Guidelines: DPM UM gave guidelines for officers and staff

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe met with officers and staff who will serve duties at Myanmar Embassies, permanent representative offices, and consulates in foreign countries and gave necessary guidelines on 25th October.

First, the officers and staff who will serve duties at Myanmar Embassies, permanent representative offices, and consulates in foreign countries introduced the countries where they served the duties and those where they will go to serve.

In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister said that for a person who will serve the duty in abroad, the most important responsibility is the royalty to the country and people, in the diplomatic relation, in line with the adage “Friendliness to be longer and hatefulness to shorten”, it’s important to carry out to achieve the goal by turning the enemy into a friend, a diplomat who can perform logically by fulfilling own capacity and capability, can enhance the self-value.

As a duty of a diplomat is to perform great responsibility with the least manpower, the constant effort is needed to make for the progress of the diplomatic ability and smartness etc.
