Development of National Races: Meeting with trainees from Education Degree Batch-6

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the trainees from Education Degree Batch-6 of the University for the Development of the National Races of the Union at the SAC Chariman’s Office on 25th October.

In his speech, the Prime Minister emphasized the exerted efforts of the government to develop the qualified comprehensive education system in order to build a prosperous nation which have higher educated citizens. He encouraged the trainees to make strenuous efforts for achieving increased basic and advanced literacy rates. 

Aiming to form a qualified society, the Prime Minister stressed on nurturing students and youths to become a reliable citizens who comply with the existing laws and regulations. He highlighted that in order to survive in this challenging world, every individual needs not only the academic qualifications but also the essential knowledge and growth mindset.  Therefore, the government is striving to promote reading habit and to develop libraries across the nation.

The Prime Minister called for active participation of the personnel from education field and urged the trainees to fulfill their duty in their respective workplaces to promote literacy rate of the nation. Next, Ma Myat Thinzar Kyaw expressed words of gratitude on behalf of the students.

Then, the Prime Minister accepted memorable gifts from the students, and in turn, presented cash awards. Initially established as the Academy For Development of National Groups on 20th October, 1964, the facility was upgraded to the University for the Development of the National Races of the Union on May 10th, 1991. As of today, a total of 14,288 trainees were already graduated from the University.
