Germany's Scholz, India's Modi meet in New Delhi

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are co-chairing the 7th edition of Intergovernmental Consultations (IGC) between India and Germany in New Delhi on Friday.

Scholz has led a high-level delegation to New Delhi, including Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Robert Habeck, Foreign Minister Baerbock and Defence Minister Boris Pistorius. The German Chancellor had visited India twice last year, for a bilateral state visit and then to attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit.
