Meeting on Agriculture and Livestock: Shan State CM gave a remark at the meeting

The meeting on enhancement of agricultural and livestock breeding products was held at the meeting hall of the Shan State Government office in Taunggyi Township, Shan State (South) on 23rd October.

First, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung delivered the opening speech, stating the need for relevant departments to collaborate in designating and selecting suitable areas for agriculture and livestock production to enhance these sectors.

He emphasized that the state government would provide appropriate support to implement model agricultural and livestock projects. The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of systematically overseeing the establishment of model farms and livestock zones and instructed relevant departments to work together in selecting and proposing suitable land for these initiatives.

The head officers of State Department of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Land Management and Statistics, Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department clarified the implementation of relevant sectors, the State Ministers, State Advocate General and officials reported the irrigation, agriculture and livestock breeding sectors. In responding to the clarifications, State Chief Minister gave necessary instructions.
