Inspection of sports camping trainings: Kachin State CM inspected sports camping trainings

It's reported that the sports team represented Kachin State will participate in 5th National Sports Festival which will be held during December, 2024 with 21 sports events. The State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan together with the responsible officials oversaw the camping trainings of the relevant sports in stadium and sports grounds in Myitkyina Township on 23rd October.

First, the State Minister and party attended the opening ceremony of Myanmar Traditional Martial Art of Thaing training in the indoor stadium of State People’s Sports Ground to scrutinize and select the State selections for the National Sports Festival. At the ceremony, Chief Minister urged the athletes to learn and practice Myanmar Traditional Martial Art of Thaing systematically.

Next, the Chief Minister and party watched the demonstrations of the traditional martial art of Thaing skills, provided 500,000 Kyats of cash assistance and cordially greeted the instructors and trainees.

The Chief Minister and party also oversaw the volleyball and Badminton practices in the relevant sport facilities, provided cash assistance, gave words of encouragement and coordinated requirements.

In the evening on 22nd October, the Chief Minister and party inspected the water outlet of Inn-Jun Creek into Ayeyaeady River in Sitapu Ward of Myitkyina Township and status of soil deposit for the cultivation of oil crops such as sunflower, canola, Niger seed, gave necessary instruction to make ground inspection of constructing In-Jun Creek sluice gate and plots for oil crops cultivation and addressed the requirements.
