Call for post flood garbage removal

Local vendors at Muang Mai Market in Chiang Mai have urged authorities to expedite the removal of flood-damaged garbage that has been piling up on the roadside for over a week.

Piles of garbage, a mix of flood debris and market waste, have been a persistent eyesore along the roadside of the market. The area, popular among foreign tourists, especially Chinese visitors, is now marred by the foul smell and presence of flies.
