




The sixth day of the 25th Silver Jubilee Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition continued at the respective venues in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.
The contestants showed their skills in the Singing Contest, Marionettee Contest, Ethnic and Rural Dance Contest, Song Composing Contest, and Musical Instrument Playing Contests for Don Min, Ethnic Instruments, Piano and Traditional Orchestra.
In addition, contestants from Mon and Kayin States and Sagaing, Ayeyawady, Yangon, Magway and Mandalay Regions showed their narrative skills, performing the Maha-Sutasoma Jataka.
In the Marionette Drama Contest, the “Shwe Pha Si Than Aung Nan San” Drama Troupe, representing Kayin State, staged “Vessantara” Drama, while the Maha Janaka Drama was performed by the “Shwe Min Tha Lay Kaung Sit Hein” Drama Troupe, representing Bago Region at the Theatrical Drama Contest.
The sixth day contests were enjoyed by Joint Secretary of the State Administration Council, Council members, Union Ministers, the Commander-in-Chief (Navy), the Commader-in-Chief (Air), Judges of the Union Supreme Court, members of the State Constitutional Tribunal, Union Election Commission, Deputy Ministers and officials as well as the enthusiasts.
