Tour in Nay Pyi Taw: Efforts for development of agriculture and livestock

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation is providing assistance for development of agricultural and livestock productions, along with the production of value-added products.

On Saturday, Deputy Minister Dr Aung Aung Gyi visited Kan Gyi Livestock Breeding Zone in Tatkone Township and observed the breeding of dairy cows and pigs.

The Deputy Minister later proceeded to Sintegyi Village in Zeyathiri Township to meet with the local farmers for replanting of damaged plantations due to the recent floods. During the meeting, the Deputy Minister presented Gypsum to the farmers to be used as fertilizers. He then assessed the thriving of winter peanut plantation.
