Agricultural Development: Paddy harvesting and putting agricultural inputs

Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win visited Thayet Kone Village in Zalun Township of Hinthada District on Saturday to observe the harvesting of monsoon paddy model plot.

On the six-acre land plot of Farmer U Than Zaw Oo, the YSR-1 species monsoon paddy have been planted as the model plantation. During the harvest, it yields 100.35 baskets per acre.

The Chief Minister and party later visited Min Dayae Village-tract to oversee the broadcasting of agricultural inputs at the 7-acre monsoon paddy field which was affected by the flood.
