






On Saturday, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung, together with officials inspected the collective cleaning tasks at the recreation areas in front of Eain Daw and Taunggyi Hotel. They also observed the implementation of proper drainage system on Yone Gyi Road, and renovation of the City Hall and installation of LED Boards as well as upgrading the drainages in front of Shu Khin Tha Park.
The Chief Minister and party also visited Yay Htwet Oo Water Resource in Yay Aye Kwin Ward of Taunggyi, and heard reports on distribution of water to the residential wards. The Yay Htwet Oo Lake is 1.5 acres wide, and with its 5 gallon storage capacity, the facility distributes 3 gallon of water to four wards in Taunggyi, benefiting 1,400 people.
They then assessed the section of Yay Htwet Oo Road which was inundated by heavy rainfall, and instructed for implementation of proper drainage system for better flow of water. They later inspected the progress of constructing retaining wall along the roads to Mya Sein Taung Pagoda and Shwe Phone Pwint Pagoda.
