Performing Arts Competition: Maha Janaka Theatrical Drama Contest

The Maha Janaka Theatrical Drama contest of the 25th Silver Jubilee Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition continued at the Open Theater of Nay Pyi Taw City Development Committee on Friday.

Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win and wife enjoyed the event, together with the Union Ministers and their wives, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and Deputy Ministers as well as members of the judges, supervisors, instructors, contestants from regions and states, staff families and enthusiasts.

“Shwe Yangon Taing Zat Ahla Thabin” Theatrical Drama Troupe, representing Yangon Region staged the audience, showcasing their dramatic performance skills.

The Theatrical Drama Troupes representing Ayeyawady, Magway and Mandalay Regions and Mon State have already performed for the contests which commenced since October 14th. The teams representing Bago and Sagaing Regions are scheduled to perform on October 19th and 20th respectively.
