Religious Occasion: Thadingyut celebration in Sittwe

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and wife on 17th October paid homage to Pagoda and made cash donation for all-round renovation of the pagoda.

The Chief Minister and part also visited the Kat Kyaw Yang Pyay Man Pyay Koe Nawin Dhatu Aye Pagodas, and offered flowers, water and oil lamps, and made donations to support the comprehensive restoration of the pagodas.

Afterward, the Chief Minister and party visited the Seitta Thukha Monastery, where they offered food, edible oil, beans, and offertories to the Sayadaw. Next, they attended the ceremony to offer oil lamps and release hot-aired balloons on the platform of Law Ka Nandar pagoda.

The Chief Minister and party encouraged the participants who offered oil lamps to the pagoda, and took part in the releasing of hot-air balloons together with the staff and local community.
