Hong Kong -Kazakhstan Direct Flights

Hong Kong's Travel Industry Council has signed a deal with the Tourism Department of Almaty City in Kazakhstan. Two Countries Direct flights will resume soon to help strengthen ties.

The head of tourism promotion at the Almaty Tourism Department expressed hopes that Central Asia will attract more tourists from Hong Kong and mainland China through Almaty. Currently, there are around 160 direct flights each month between China and Kazakhstan, covering cities such as Urumqi and Beijing.
