More than 160,000 people in Sri Lanka affected by bad weather

The number of people affected by the heavy rains has risen to more than 160,000. The latest report from the Disaster Management Center indicates that over 9,500 individuals remain in 70 safe locations. Tragically, three people have lost their lives due to the adverse weather conditions. The landslide warnings issued for several divisional secretariats in seven districts will remain in effect until Tuesday afternoon.
