




The Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win met with the responsible officials of Sagaing Region Government at the Region Government office on 14th October and gave remark regarding with the regional peace and stability and security measures.
First, the Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and Region Ministers clarified the administrative, economic and social matters, disbursement of loans for the regional agricultural and livestock breeding and MSMEs, data of the Region, formation of Public Security and Counter-Terrorism forces, participation in the enumeration of population and housing census and other matters.
In responding to th clarifications, the SAC Vice Chairman gave a remark on the setting of future work programs and objectives since the inception of taking State responsibilities, as the ultimate objective, to hold the free and fairs Multi-Party Democracy Election and transfer State Power to the wining government and the necessary preparations are being made, the importance of regional peace and development to successfully implement those objectives, systematic formation of Public Security and Counter-Terrorism and organizing for public participation, fulfilling basic needs for agricultural and livestock breeding entrepreneurs etc.
In the morning on the same day, the SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Commander-In-Chief of Defense Services and Commander-In-Chief (Army) accompanied by Commander of North-West Command and Senior military officials from the office of Commander-In-Chief (Army) visited local Tatmadaw Hospital in MonYwa and gave words of comfort to the officers and ranks who sustained injuries while serving the State Defense and security duties.
The SAC Vice Chairman met with the officers, ranks, members of Myanmar Police Force and members of People’s Militias who sustained injuries while serving the State Defense and security duties, inquired conditions of injuries, status of responding to the treatment and improvement individually, gave words of comfort, coordinated requirements upon the reports and provided relief items and cash assistance.
The Deputy Commander-In-Chief of Defense Services also provided cash of honor for the paramedic service personnel. The Vice Senior General also met with the officers, ranks and family members at Wun Tho Military Station, provided words of encouragement separately, foodstuff, necessary supplies and cash assistance, it’s learnt.
