Work coordination meeting: Kachin State CM urged to organize annual festivals

The work coordination meeting regarding with the annual celebrated 2024 Thadingyut Festival, 14th collective Mahakahtina Festival and Dazaungdine Festival organized by the Kachin State Government grandly in Myitkyina Township was held at the Malikha Hall of State Government office on 14th October.

During the meeting, State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan urged to conduct necessary preparations for grandly organizing coming Abhidhamma Day which falls on Full Moon Day of Thadingyut, collective Mahakahtina Festival and Dazaungdine Festival, assessing the advantages and disadvantages from the previous years and more participation of the people.

Next, the State Ministers, members of work committees and State level departmental officials clarified the preparations and arrangements for organizing Thadingyut lighting festival, collective Mahakahtina Festival and Dazaungdine Festival, inclusion of entertainment programs and the Chief Minister coordinated requirements for organizing festivals magnificently.

In the afternoon, the Chief Minister held a coordination meeting with members of State level committees, groups and associations which are carrying out the border area goods transportation, companies and entrepreneurs for quick and smooth management in Myanmar-China goods transportation through Kan Paing Ti border gate and Myanmar-China goods flow again.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions. Following this, State Minister for Economic Affairs discussed status of allowing inspection for controlling and supervising cargo vehicles and work plans to be implemented and the State Government members, Committee members, groups and associations, companies and entrepreneurs reported the difficulties encountered and matters needed the coordination and the Chief Minister addressed the requirements.
