Inspection tour: MoSYA UM inspected sports facilities

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan conducted an inspection of the indoor stadium in Kan Gyi Daunt Township, Ayeyarwaddy Region, on Monday.

Accompanied by relevant officials, the Union Minister met with staff to address their needs.Following this, the Union Minister and party assessed the ongoing upgrading work at the stadium, providing necessary instructions.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister met with personnel from the Region Sports and Physical Education Department, emphasizing the importance of teamwork, discipline and mutual respect. He encouraged collaboration not only within the sports sector but also in youth affairs and fulfilled the needs based of the reports of staff.

Later, the Union Minister inspected the construction of the Institute of Sports and Physical Education and the site for a new 120-feet by 90-feet indoor stadium. During the inspection, he instructed timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
