Daron Acemoglu, Simon Johnson, James Robinson announced as economics Nobel laureates

The Nobel prize in economics is awarded to Turkish-American Daron Acemoglu and British-Americans Simon Johnson and James Robinson for research into wealth inequality between nations. The trio was honored for studies of how institutions are formed and affect prosperity, states the Secretary General of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences during a press conference in Stockholm.
