






The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of Silver Jubilee 25thMyanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition was held at Myanmar International Convention Centre II (MICC-II) in Nay Pyi Taw on October 14.
First, Patron of the Leading Committee for Organizing Silver Jubilee 25th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition, SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, Chairman of Leading Committee Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo opened the competition by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
Next, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing unveiled the signboard of Silver Jubilee 25th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition by pressing the auto button.
After that, the artistes performed the dance of three eras when the SAC Chairman and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla and guests entered into the hall.
At the second part of the ceremony, the multi-ethnic integrated music orchestra played the ethnical harmonious music.
Then, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered an opening speech.
Next, the Chairman of Leading Committee for Organizing Silver Jubilee 25thMyanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tint Oo Lwin clarified regarding with the arrangements for organizing the competition.
At the end of the ceremony, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife, and members cordially greeted the judges of veteran artistes.
Next, the SAC Chairman and wife cordially greeted the members of multi-ethnic integrated music orchestra and presented 5 million kyat of cash honor.
The Silver Jubilee 25th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competitions 2024 is organized in accord with four objectives: to uplift national prestige and integrity and to preserve the cultural heritage and national characteristics; to explore, preserve and uplift the traditional cultural heritage of performing arts of ethnic nationals and national cultural characteristics; to explore and preserve the traditional cultural heritage for the young generation and further propagate the national spirit; and to serve as a national cultural entity for State development, peace, and stability.
