Signing contract for Power supply: Taninthayi Region CM attended the signing ceremony

The signing ceremony of a contract entered by Taninthayi Region Government and New Myanmar Renewable Energy Co.,Ltd for Electric Power generating and transmitting in Kyunsu Township of Myeik District was held at the office of Region Government in Dawei Township on 9th October.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister U Myat Ko said that New Myanmar Renewable  Energy Co.,Ltd which won the tender for the 3 Megawatt Hydropower Electric Power and 7.8 Megawatt Solar Power Electricity Project in Kyunsu Township needs to continuing Electric Power supply generating by solar-diesel hybrid generator with 900 kyats per unit. As Kyunsu Township is not accessible National Grid, Electric Power supply project has to be implemented as a specific project.

Next, the Region Minister for Natural Resources U Khin Maung Myint clarified the implementation for the for Electric Power generating and transmitting in Kyunsu Township and the Chairman of Myanmar Thiha Group of Companies U Kyaw Min Oo elaborated the status of implementation and future action plans and Region Government Secretary U Khin Maung Cho supplemented necessary matters.

Then, the responsible officials signed thecontract entered by Taninthayi Region Government and New Myanmar Renewable Energy Co.,Ltd for Electric Power generating and transmitting in Kyunsu Township and posed for documentary photo, it’s reported.
