Inspection of rehabilitation works: Shan State CM inspected rehabilitation works

Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung accompanied by the State Ministers and officials inspected repairing of Meiktila-Taunggyi-Kengtung-Tachileik Road damaged by heavy rain on 8th October and heard the clarification by the director of Road Department (Shan State-East) and oversaw the status of repaired road.

Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected restoration work of urban water supply by Kengtung Township Development Committee, heard the clarification of ongoing water supply restoration works and remaining ones to be conducted by the responsible official, gave necessary instruction and oversaw the repairing works at (8) mile water supply station of Kengtung.

At the Road Department office of Mong Pyin Township, responsible official from Road Special Unit (3) clarified the maintenance of Takaw-Mongpyin-Kengtung section of Meiktila-Taunggyi-Kengtung-Tachileik Road and the Chief Minister and party inspected the places of rock wall blocked the expansion of road section.

Consequently, Chief Minister and party oversaw the Thanlwin River crossing new Takaw (တာကော်) Bridge construction site completed at 96.35%, heard the clarification of official from Bridge Special Unit and inspected new Takaw Bridge.
