



The Ministry of Industry is diligently working on the electricity restoration for flood-affected Kyan Pho Su village, Ywa Taw village tract of PobbaThiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, through the collaborative efforts of dedicated staff families and generous donors.
As part of these efforts, a ceremonial inauguration for the electricity restoration initiative was held on Tuesday, attended by Chairman of the Disaster Management Committee Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than, along with other departmental and relevant officials.
At the event, the Union Minister received a report from a village elder on the community's challenges following the recent floods. He then inaugurated the ceremony by activating the village’s main electricity switch, signaling the power restoration.
A village elder extended works of thanks to the ministry’s staff and donors for their support in restoring electricity, as well as for providing essential food, medicine for residents and educational materials for students. After the ceremony, the Union Minister encouraged the ceremony attendees and discussed conditions for ongoing rehabilitation efforts. He then inspected drainage works to improve water flow in the village.
