Making ground inspection: Kachin State CM made ground inspections in Mohnyin

In making effort for obtaining target yield of monsoon, extended cultivation of autumn double oil crops and other double crops in full swinging, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and party who are in Mohnyin Township of Mohnyin District, made ground inspection for the development in the Township on 6th October.

During the inspection trip, Chief Minister, State Ministers, State level departmental officials, Commander of Moe Hnying military station and officials attended the opening ceremony of new District Fire Service Department office building constructed with the State capital fund, opened the new office building by cutting the ceremonial ribbon, inspected search and rescue vehicle, fire engines and search and rescue equipment purchased with State fund to be in readiness.

Consequently, the State Chief Minister and party visited District People’s Hospital, met with the health personnel led by the hospital superintendent, heard the clarifications of hospital superintendent, provided 1 million Kyats for the hospital staffs, cordially greeted the patients and provided cash assistance for them.

After that, the Chief Minister and party encouraged the District/Township Census Committee members and census enumeration teams in Nar Cha Ward of Mohnyin Township, gave necessary instruction and provided cash assistance.

In the afternoon, Chief Minister and wife and officials attended the ceremony of providing local poultry and pig species for the elimination and narcotic drugs and facilitating vocational livestock breeding held at the Village Hall of Inn Gyin Kone Village, gave necessary suggestions and provided local poultry and pig species to the Village households.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials paid homage to the Presiding Sayadaw of Waso monastery in Myoma Ward, supplicated religious affairs and donated rice bags and cooking oil for 10 monasteries and 3 nunneries.

Then, they visited Kachin Baptist Church in Aungthapyay-2 Ward, met with the Chair person, reverends and EC members of the Church, received Kachin traditional gifts and provided cash assistances, for the Church, orphanage run by the church, rice bags for the IDP families and donated 2 million Kyats for the construction of new Church building.

After that, the Chief Minister met with the religious organizations, literature and culture associations and civil society organizations at the Mohnyin District collective office, gave necessary instructions and provided cash assistances for the religious organizations and literature and culture associations.
