Francophone countries called for 'immediate' ceasefire in Lebanon.

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Saturday that 88 Francophone countries have collectively called for an “immediate” ceasefire in Lebanon.

The French president also announced that the Francophone countries approved an international conference to support Lebanon, which will take place this month. Speaking about the Israeli offensive in Gaza, Macron reiterated calls for not supplying arms to Israel as long as there is no agreement for a ceasefire.
