Donation Ceremony: Cash assistance and offering of robes

On Friday, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement convened a donation ceremony at the Disaster Management Center of the Ministry.

A contribution consisting of 10 million kyats and 100 sets of robes, were provided by the PyinmanaDhammaCariya Monastery. This was formally accepted by Union Minister Dr. Soe Win while extending words of thanks and presenting a certificate of honor in return. The donated provisions will be distributed to the flood-hit regions, affected by the Typhoon Yagi.
