Knowledge Dissemination Session: Anti-Corruption dissemination session held in MoD

With the aim at broadening knowledge of civil service personnel on Anti-Corruption measures, Anti-Corruption knowledge dissemination session co-organized by the Ministry of Defense and Anti-Corruption Commission was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 2nd October.

The occasion was attended by SAC member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defense Admiral Tin Aung San, Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission U Sitt Aye and officials.Speaking on the occasion, the SAC member said that the Anti-Corruption Strategic Plan (2022-2025) was developed and the plan is being implemented in the country.

At the Strategic Plan, the processes of prevention, knowledge dissemination, investigation and taking action are included. The SAC member highlighted the guidelines for the implementation of anti-corruption measures given by the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister at the 2022 International Anti-Corruption Day observation and urged the civil service organizations to render service to the public with transparency, equal status and serve responsibility dutifully.

Next, the Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission said that such knowledge dissemination session is a good move and fundamental approach for the anti-corruption measures.

Then, the responsible officials from the office of Anti-Corruption Commission clarified the natures of corruption, root causes, bad consequences and prevention sectors, anti-corruption law and investigation sectors and the attendee personnel raised questions on their inquisitive matters.
