Census-taking in Chin State: Census-taking commenced in Hakha of Chin State

The 2024 Nationwide Population and Housing Census is being taken as of 1st October and it was done in Hakha Township of Chin State on the same day.

The teams comprised of supervisors and enumerators took the population and housing census of Chin State Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col. Thein Tun Aung, State Ministers and local residents in door-to-door system with the close supervising of State, District and Township Census Committee members.

The census-taking will also be conducted in Hakha, Falam and Tedim Townships, it’s reported.
