Nepal Rains Bring Floods and Landslides

Incessant rainfall across Nepal has pushed river levels to dangerous heights, affecting rivers from Arun in the east to Banaganga in the west. 

Major rivers have crossed the danger level, prompting to open the sluice gates, warning of potential flooding in the surrounding areas. The water level in the river is being continuously monitored since the eastern region has received very heavy rainfall over the past few days. Efforts are underway to remove landslide debris to resume vehicular movement.
