Showing Support: Various organizations welcome SAC invitation for dialogue

The State Administration Council on September 26th has invited Ethnic Armed Organizations, insurgent groups, and PDF terrorists to abandon their violent tactics and to engage in the political process through party politics or elections, as a means to resolve the ongoing issues peacefully and collaboratively with the populace.

Various organizations show their strong support to the invitation in light of the suffering caused by armed violence.

The organizations included the Young Men's Buddhist Association (YMBA), the Interfaith Friendship Organization (Central), Myanmar Press Council, Myanmar Sports Media Federation, Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, Myanmar Writers Association, Myanmar Music Association (Central), Multi-Ethnic Unity and Welfare Association (Provisional), Myanmar Artists Association (Central), Myanmar Theatrical Association (Central), Myanmar Comedians’ Association, Myanmar Evangelical Christian Alliance, the Methodist Church of the Union of Myanmar (Lower Myanmar), Evangelical Church, Bago, Deliverance Church (Yangon), All Myanmar Hindu Central Council, Myanmar Tamil Hindu Foundation (HQ), ThanantaDhammaPalaka (Hindu) Association, Islamic Religious Affairs Council Myanmar and Pinnaygon Rakhine Jaame Mosque.
