Providing Assistance: Relief and rehabilitation measures in Taungoo

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win on September 27th visited the Taungoo District Commanding Office for Flood Rescue Measures and met with the Agricultural Supervisory Committees, ward and village administrators and community elders.

The Chief Minister called for called for cooperative efforts of all concerned personnel in rehabilitation measures. He stress to make systematic compilation of data for damaged infrastructure, providing informal education access to the venerable school aged children and extended cultivation of winter crops.

The attendees discussed the plans for replanting at the inundated farmlands, repairs for the damaged infrastructures and other necessities. The Chief Minister also viewed the preparation for distribution of donated items to the affected households.
