Electricity sector: MoEP UM received DY Gov. of Yunnan Province

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun met with a delegation led by Mr. Liu Yong, the Deputy Governor of Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China, at the Ministry, Office No. (27) in Nay Pyi Taw on 23rd of September.  

During the meeting, they discussed the statuses of successful implementation for developing the electricity sector between Myanmar and China, as well as ongoing collaborations to enhance Myanmar's electricity sector through various energy resources. They had an open and transparent discussion regarding future areas of cooperation between the Ministry and the Yunnan provincial government.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw, senior officials from the relevant departments, and representatives from the economic and energy departments of Yunnan Province, People's Republic of China.
