Inspection Tour: MOEP Union Minister inspects restoration works

On 22nd September, Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun accompanied by concerned officials made inspection in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.

The Union Minister and party inspected the construction site of 230 KV Shwe Myo- Nay Pyi Taw (2) power line in Pobbathiri Township and heard reports on damaged power lines and transmission towers due to severe floods, restoration process, power line core relocation and arrangements for power distribution in timely manner.

Next, the Union Minister inspected restoration and reconstruction of the power lines and transmission towers and provided necessary instructions on acceleration of the restoration processes with the full capacity of both man and machine power, systematic utilization of equipment and tools as well as the accurate data compilation.

Additionally, the Union Minister and party inspected the 230 KV Tharsi-Shwe Myo power line restoration processes such as reinstallation of transmission towers and laying foundation and coordinated necessities.

The relevant personnel under the Department of Power Transmission and System Control are making exerted efforts for timely completion of the 230 KV Tharsi-Shwe Myo power line, power line core relocation to continue power distribution as soon as possible.
