Clearing Debris: Transporation blocks due to landslides and erosion

Since September 10th, Hopone’s Maene Hill area in PaO Self-Administered Zone of Shan State (South) is experiencing the torrential rain, blocking transportation in the area due to landslides and erosion.

The Department of Road is clearing the debris including tree branches and heaps of soil along Sanphu-Ywa Thit Roads. Local authorities supervised the clearing tasks, stressing the need for speedy restoration for normal traffic and commodity flow, ensuring the worksite safety.
