Czech Republic and South Korea sign agreements, pending nuclear contract

South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala visited a Skoda nuclear engineering factory in Plzen as the two countries signed 12 cooperation deals on a multi-billion-dollar tender for Korea's KHNP to build two reactors. Despite the agreements, the main contract has yet to be signed, with the tender contested by US giant Westinghouse and France's EDF.
