Rehabilitation of Livelihoods: Work processes targeted to complete by March 2025

A Work Committee on Rehabilitation of Livelihoods held its meeting at the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development on Friday.

Committee Chairman Union Minister U Hla Moe discussed the need to draft short and long term plans for rehabilitation works for recent floods. Emphasizing the accuracy of the damaged lists, he instructed the officials to make field survey for collecting damaged crop plantations, with raising awareness to farmers for preparedness measures.

With the guidance of the National Disaster Management Committee, rehabilitation works for livelihoods and other necessities have been targeted to complete within six months till March 2025. He called for collaborative efforts of all concerned departments with detailed drafting work plans.
