Food donation: 10,000 meal boxes donated in Nay Pyi Taw Council area

On the 19th of September, the Shwe Than Lwin Group, SKY NET, and SHWE BANK families donated meal boxes to flood-affected people in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.

In the morning, 940 boxes of chicken biryani were donated to temporary flood relief camps in Thit Lay Lone  and Tha Kya Sett villages in Pyinmana Township and nearby flood-affected people.

In addition, 2,620 boxes of chicken biryani were donated to temporary flood relief camps at the No. 109 Infantry Battalion and the Defence Industry 1 and 4. Also, for the monasteries within Naypyidaw Council Area in need of food donation, 1,000 lunch boxes of chicken biryani for the monks and 200 boxes from the flood relief camp at the Tabaung Ground in front of the Uppatathanti Pagoda were donated.

Likewise, the families donated 305 boxes of chicken biryani to flood-affected people taking shelter at the Shwe Byaing In Monastery and those in Zeyathiri Township. Additionally, 875 boxes of chicken biryani were donated to flood-affected people in Wet Kone Village and nearby areas in Pobbathiri Township, NyaungPinThar, InThar and KhunChan villages of Lewei Township and those takin shelter at Taung Tone Lone ZeyTaWun Tawya Monastery.

Also, blankets and cash were donated for the senior citizens in Wet Kone Village and lamps for the village. The donation continued in the evening on the same day. Since September 15, the Shwe Than Lwin Group, SKY NET, and SHWE BANK families have been providing daily meal donations to flood-affected people in Nay Pyi Taw Council area.
