Inspection Tour: Senior General tours in Tatkone Station

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by member of the SAC, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Chief of Defence Service (Navy) Vice Admiral Htein Win and senior military officials inspected the military headquarters within Tatkone Station and provided relief items.

The Senior General met with the senior military officials, Tatmadawmen and family members and briefed on damages and losses due to torrential rainfall which caused severe flood. The Senior General stressed to emphasize on clearing of routes, restoration of water and electricity, selling of essential commodities at reasonable prices for the convenience of the Tatmadaw family members and systematic relocation of the buildings which are blocking the water routes.

Then, the Senior General gave words of comfort to the Tatmadawmen and family members, fulfilled necessities and provided foodstuff and clothes. The Senior General also comforted the Tatmadawmen receiving medical treatments at the region headquarter clinic and provided foodstuff.

Next, the Senior General inspected collapsed Mone Creek Crossing concrete bridge, heard reports and inspected the rescue measures carried out. Subsequently, the Senior General and party inspected the staff housings of region headquarter damaged by the severe flood and gave words of comfort to the staff family members.

On the same day, the Senior General and party inspected the silt and debris clearing activities carried out at the Basic Education High School and stressed for the timely completion of the restoration tasks and reopening of the school. Then, the Senior General and party inspected the damaged road, bridge and buildings within the station and provided necessary instructions.
