Donation Ceremony: Donations for flood affected area

A donation ceremony for areas affected by floods due to the effects Typhoon Yagi in the South China Sea was held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement on Tuesday morning and Union Minister Dr. Soe Win accepted the donations and gave certificate of honor.

During the ceremony, Chief Justice U Tha Htay and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union on behalf of the staffs’ families donated 5 million kyats, Automotive Association of Myanmar donated 30 million kyats, and students from Yangon Technology University (1984) donated 11.5 million kyats, in total 465 million kyats of donations received at the ceremony.

In addition, Vice Senior General Maung Aye (retired) and wife donated 300 lunch boxes for flood victims through the Ministry of Relief and Resettlement.
