Factory Inspection: MOI Union Minister visits Yeni Paper Mill

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than visited Yeni Paper Mill in Bago Region on Saturday to assess the impact of floods.

The facility is equipped with the garment factories and pulp factory in addition to the paper mill. Over 4,700 workers are employed at these garment factories, producing variety of jackets and pants for export.

During the inspection, the Union Minister instructed for cooperative efforts of all concerned personnel to prevent damaging of machineries and factory building due to natural disaster, with necessary preparedness plans while making efforts for boosting production.
