Relief Measures: Provisions at temporary relief camps in Nay Pyi Taw

On Friday, Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win, along with other concerned officials, visited temporary relief camps at MingalarByuHarSasanaBeikman and Aung SiThar Monastery in Pyinmanna Township.

There, they provided over 4.7 million kyats worth of rice and noodles for the displaced residents affected by Typhoon Yagi from Pobbathiri, Zeyathiri, and Pyinmana Townships in Nay Pyi Taw and gave words of comfort. 

Subsequently, the Union Minister and the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman received donations from generous donors, including 300 24-pyi bags of rice worth 30 million kyats, basic foodstuffs valued at 20 million kyats and 5 million kyats in cash assistance for the displaced victims.

Additionally, Union Minister for the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office (1) Admiral Moe Aung and his family donated 300 lunch boxes, 100 cans of chickpea curry and clothes for flood victims at Ma Shi Khana Monastery through the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.
