PM Paetongtarn delivers government’s policy proposal to parliament

Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra delivered a policy statement to the joint session of Parliament on Thursday, outlining 10 urgent policies aimed at boosting the economy and improving the lives of Thai citizens.

She emphasized the government’s commitment to creating equal opportunities for all citizens. The new government faces a multitude of challenges, including a sluggish economy, high levels of debt, income inequality, environmental issues, and social and political divisions. She pledged to work with all sectors of society to turn these challenges into opportunities.
