Inspection in Mandalay: MOI Union Minister inspects the flood hit factories

Consecutive rainfall in Mandalay Region has caused inundation at No. 8 Textile Factory (Yamaethin). On the 12th of September, Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than inspected the measures on recovering of raw materials and finished goods, and factory machines and operation processes of the factory.

During the inspection, the Union Minister gave necessary instructions on conducting preventative measures for natural disaster and producing the items ordered by the ministries on time.

After inspecting condition of installed machines, storage of raw materials and finished goods at No. 8 Textile Factory (Pyawbwe), the Union Minister instructed on conducting of prevention measures of the factory in full capacity due to consecutive rainfall on these days.
