Power Distribution: MOEP Union Minister inspects the repair works

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun inspected the repair works of damaged towers due to to floods in Tatkone Township on Thursday.

Offcials reported on the power distribution plans and completion of the repair works within the targeted time. The Union Minister instructed for worksite safety and completion of the tasks as soon as possible. The Union Minister also organized a work coordination meeting on the repair works of damaged towers at the Ministry Office. 

At present, electricity has been distributed to Nay Pyi Taw and Mandalay Region through Thazi-Shwe Myo and Shwe Myo-Nay Pyi Taw (2) power lines. Due to the floods, nine towers and many lamp posts were damaged in Nay Pyi Taw, causing power outage in some areas.
