Farmer’s Forum: Knowledge sharing session for agricultural development

47th Edition of Farmer’s Technical Forum titled “Multi-nourishment Management for Agricultural Production” was held at Agricultural Research Department in Nay Pyi Taw YeZin on 7th September.

At the event, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Tin Htut said it is necessary to effectively use the remnants from kitchen and crops by making humus. He added that emphasis will be made to implement the community based natural fertilizer production, using farm waste materials.  He also highlighted the needs for richness of soil on the farmlands.

At the forum, research findings regarding the multi-nourishment management for agricultural production, practical fields, benefits for farmers and contribution of environmental and sustainable agricultural production were discussed.
