






Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin along with the officials visited Loikaw Education Degree College and University of Computer Studies in Loikaw on Saturday while the state government is making efforts to reopen the universities, colleges and institutes.
At Loikaw Education Degree College, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the cleaning and greening tasks in the college compound. After inspecting campus buildings, hostels, canteens, staff housing, hall and library, the Chief Minister coordinated the requirements.
On arrival at the University of Computer Studies (Loikaw), the Chief Minister and party viewed around the collective cleaning works for face-lifting the image of the university and gave necessary instructions.
During the meeting with the officials at the hall of the university, the Chief Minister said the universities and colleges were closed temporarily due to the situations in the areas. Among them, Loikaw Education Degree College and University of Computer Studies are prioritized to reopen for the students.
He stressed the needs to implement on electricity and water distribution, renovation of campus hostels and cleaning of campus environ in timely manner. He urged all concerned officials to put efforts for teachers and students to be able to attend the schools happily and peacefully.
