Syria Chemical Weapons

A top UN official for Disarmament said, “The declaration submitted by the Syrian Arab Republic still cannot be considered accurate and complete in accordance with the Chemical Weapons Convention.”These results indicated potentially undeclared activities related to several chemical warfare agents, including the full production cycle from research and development to production, testing, and storage for two of those agents.”

Representing his country, Syrian Permanent Representative Koussay Aldahhak stated, “The monthly reports of the OPCW’s Director-General continue to promote the same false allegations and accusations that hostile western countries make against Syria, which my country categorically and completely rejects.”
