Providing basic foodstuff: Kachin State government provided foodstuff to the personnel

The Kachin State Government regularly provides necessary assistances to ensure the comfort of employees' living and convenience for basic foodstuff. At 8:30 AM, on September 3rd, the government organized its fourth support of such assistances, held in the Sama Duwa SinwaNawng Hall within the government compound.

This event was for employees and over 440 security personnel working in government offices and the General Administration Department of the state government. During the event, rice, oil, and other basic necessities were provided.

At the occasion, Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan stated that, due to the current regional situation with road closures and high commodity prices, this support is intended to assist employees. He acknowledged their dedication and hard work, recognizing their commitment and efforts. He assured that the government will continue to manage and provide support, including essential supplies, and will make arrangements to ensure continued assistance as needed.

Next, the Chief Minister and wife, Chief Justice of State High Court provided 48.31 million Kyats worth basic foodstuff with a 108 lb rice bag or 24 pyi, two visses of cooking oil, one viss of potato, half viss of garlic and flour noodle worth one hundred and nine thousand Kyats per personnel.

Then, State Ministers provided cooking oil to distribute in Myitkyina District and Puta-O District with each 2500 vissies to the relevant District representatives.

Furthermore, Patron of State Women Affairs Committee wife of Chief Minister and officials met and encouraged the members of District and Township Women Affairs Committees and Maternal and Child Welfare Supervising Committee and provided basic foodstuff.
